Roomzzz Leeds City West

Not sure why there's negative reviews of this place, honestly first time staying in Leeds on my own and honestly it was fantastic! Staff were lovely and the apartment was spotless! Highly recommend especially for the money too it's well worth it! There's a dominos next door and a co-op just down the road. It's about a 20 mins walk from the train station which you can ethier walk or get a taxi. The only cons I would say are: - Extractor Fan in shower didn't work - Walls are a bit thin as in you can hear people above you - The lift you have to get is super squeaky and feels a bit unstable Other than the small amount of cons I can assure you I will be returning back here when I do come back to Leeds again!

I liked everything - it's a bit out of town but that gave me a good 20-25 minute walk to the center twice a day (buses were running but I prefer to walk). Good little market on the next block and great new coffee shop next door (free coffee at the hotel but I'm a decaf person). Big room, quiet when the windows were closed (surrounded by student dorms). Reasonably comfortable on humid days.

I was studying a course at the National Film and Television School, which is literally across the road, the location is ideal for this. The bus to the City Centre runs frequently from around 200yds away. There's a range of food options nearby: branches of Co-Op and Tesco, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, Domino's. The room has a small kitchenette area with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and plenty of crockery, etc. Free filter coffee and croissants each morning.

-Easy to walk to from Leeds train station -Just a straight line walk into the city centre, impossible to get lost. -Lots of room inside. -Room service was good, didn't even know they had been in my room until i noticed the sink was cleaner. -good sized shower. i am 6'3 and had good room. -Helpful staff, when i arrived my 1st room didn't have a microwave, it was very easy to get a different room.

Roomszzzzz seemed so relatively cheap that I wondered what we'd find so it was a very pleasant surprise and it exceeded my expectations. We chose this apartment for its location which was conveniently near to our grandson.....it would be quite a walk into town but there is a long stay car park immediately opposite the apartment block with plenty of spaces. The staff at the reception desk were very very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and contained everything you could need whether staying away just one night, like us, or for work/holiday etc. It contained a dishwasher, fridge, basic crockery, work station area and tv. The bed was very comfortable, linen nice quality, and the room was quiet.....probably the only drawback would be that we needed to keep curtains drawn for privacy as overlooked by apartment block opposite.....not a big issue as we were out most of the time. I believe there's a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away and if you want a super meal at good price go to MyThai which is 10-15 minutes walk away at 26 York Place, you need to book!!!!
